THE Sahyog Club at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur in collaboration with AIIMS and TMC Mineral Resources is organising a Blood Donation Camp on February 25. This initiative aims to address the ongoing blood shortage in medical facilities while fostering a spirit of community service and healthcare awareness. The camp will be inaugurated by Director of NIT Raipur Dr N V Ramana Rao. Under the leadership of Dean Student Welfare Professor Dr Nitin Jain the event is striving to collect a substantial quantity of blood units, significantly contributing to local blood banks.

The partnership with AIIMS ensures that strict health and safety protocols are maintained, guaranteeing efficiency and high-quality medical care. In addition to blood donation, the event features several health awareness initiatives including a free homeopathic consultation camp led by Dr Ritu Jain, an eye checkup camp by ASG Eye Hospital, a dental checkup by Smile Dental Care and a nutrition camp conducted by Dr Shweta Chhabra from NutritionMe. The day will conclude with vote of thanks to the medical teams and partner institutions, recognising their contributions to the success of event.
