220th Mahadev National Art Exhibition-2025 inaugurated

 

 

The 220th Mahadev National Art Exhibition-2025, organised by Mahakoshal Kala Parishad, Raipur, was inaugurated at Mahakoshal Art Gallery by chief guest Dr Dinesh Mishra during the auspicious twilight hour. He expressed joy in being part of this pioneering event dedicated to Lord Mahadev, stating that such artistic innovations will benefit budding artists across India. The exhibition showcases diverse artistic interpretations of Lord Shiva, depicted through charcoal, pencil, watercolors, acrylic, pastels, mixed media, and digital graphics. Captivating artworks include Mahadev in his Rudra form, the divine panorama of Mahadev’s family, and Lord Ganesha’s playful presence on Mahadev’s palm.

 

Another artwork illustrates Lord Ram constructing a Shiva Linga from sand before Setu construction, while depictions of Maa Parvati and Bal Ganesha’s childhood moments mesmerise visitors. Notable artists include Gopal Naskar (Delhi), Ajay Tiwari (Ahmedabad), Manish Mahanand (Mumbai), Dhananjay Pawar (Lucknow), Vinod Kushwaha (Varanasi), Kalyan Prasad Sharma, Dr. Praveen Sharma, and Shyam Ninoria (Chhattisgarh). A grand display of devotion, creativity, and talent, the exhibition is expected to leave a lasting impact on art connoisseurs and Mahadev devotees alike. The exhibition remains open until February 28 at Mahakoshal Art Gallery from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
