Chhattisgarh Tourism Board made a notable presence at South Asia Travel and Tourism Expo (SATTE) 2025, one of the largest travel exhibitions in the region. Held at Yashobhoomi, Delhi, from February 19 to 21, the event served as a platform for promoting Chhattisgarh state’s diverse tourism destinations to a broad audience, including tour operators, investors, and travel enthusiasts. A special stall set up by Chhattisgarh Tourism Board became a key attraction, drawing significant attention from industry professionals. Managing Director Vivek Acharya engaged with tourism officials and tour operators from various states, presenting Chhattisgarh’s major tourist attractions such as Chitrakote Waterfall, Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary, Bastar Caves, Sirpur and Mainpat.
 
He also highlighted investment opportunities and ongoing tourism development initiatives in state. “Chhattisgarh’s natural beauty, rich cultural heritage and tourism-friendly policies under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai are positioning the state as a prime travel destination,” said Acharya. He emphasised that the State Government is actively working on new schemes to create a favorable environment for both tourists and investors.
 
The Chhattisgarh stall at SATTE 2025 emerged as a focal point, witnessing a strong response from tour and travel agencies, industry experts and visitors. Several tour operators and travel agents registered on the spot with the Tourism Board, enabling them to avail benefits under its policies and facilitate increased tourist inflow to Chhattisgarh. This engagement at SATTE 2025 is seen as a promising step toward establishing Chhattisgarh as a major tourism hub in India. Senior officials, including General Manager Vedvrat Sirmour and Deputy General Manager Sandeep Thakur, were present at the event, holding discussions with stakeholders on tourism opportunities and investment prospects in State.
