Jewels of city Gautami Bhanot and Shreya Agrawal have been selected to represent Indian squad to participate in international competitions for the year 2025. National Rifle Association of India has released the Indian Squad list for 2025, bringing pride to Sanskardhani (Jabalpur) as two of its daughters, Gautami Bhanot and Shreya Agarwal, have been selected in 10-meter Air Rifle Women’s Category.

 

Their selection is not only a proud moment for Jabalpur but for the entire State , as a total of 66 shooters have been chosen across 8 events in the 10m, 25m and 50m Rifle and Pistol categories. Among them, Madhya Pradesh has 4 shooters selected 2 in the 50m category and 2 in the 10m Air Rifle category both of whom are from Jabalpur and will represent the state in Air Rifle shooting. They will undergo specialised training camps organised by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) to prepare for international competitions where they will have the opportunity to represent India. Both Gautami and Shreya are currently training under Senior Coach Nishant Nathwani at Gun Shooting Academy, Jabalpur.
