NEW Target Ballarshah remained unbeaten as they went on to thrash Shiv Shakti by 48 runs in the final of the Royal Premier Cricket League (RPCL) Season 9 at Mecosabagh Methodist School ground, Kadbi Chowk, on late Sunday night. The tournament was jointly organised by Royal Cricket Association, Dr Sandeep Shinde’s Babuji Foundation and Hajiyani Zubeda Abdul Razzak Charitable Trust. Batting first, Ballarshah posted 108 for two in eight overs. Ahmed Aksari top scored with 48 runs while Kartik Rathod remained unbeaten on 37. For Shiv Shakti, Sourabh Yadav took two wickets. In return, Shiv Shakti were restricted at 60 for 6. Nishant Katariya was the highest scorer with 21 runs. Jatin Varma and Nitin Katariya took two wickets each.
 
The winners received a trophy and Rs 2 lakh while the runners-up team got Rs one lakh and a trophy.
