A joint team of the district administration and Police Department conducted a raid at Malik Associate located at Ghamapur Chowk in connection with preparation of fake documents. A large number of suspicious documents were seized during the raid conducted under the joint leadership of SDM Adhartal, Pankaj Mishra and SDM Ranjhi, Raghuveer Singh Maravi. As per sources, the administration received information that important documents including caste, income, residence certificates were being illegally prepared at Malik Associate. Taking cognizance of the complaint, the joint team of SDM reached the spot and recovered fake suspicious documents including admission-dismissal certificates of some schools, BPL cards and other Government documents, which had the signature and seal of the office head without anyone’s name written on them.

 

The investigation team found that documents were being made illegally. These include admission-dismissal certificates of some schools, BPL cards and other Government documents, which had the signature and seal without official approval. During the investigation, operator of Malik Associate was not present on the spot, due to which the administration sealed the shop. SDM Ranjhi Raghuveer Singh Maravi said that in preliminary investigation, suspicious signatures and evidence of tampering have been found on the certificates. He said the documents will be thoroughly investigated and if the fraud is proved, strict legal action will be taken against the operator. SDM Pankaj Mishra said that strict action should be taken against such centres where Government documents are being made illegally without valid procedure.
