3 NSS volunteers accorded warm welcome on arrival

The three NSS volunteers who returned from Republic Day Parade Camp 2025 were accorded a grand welcome at Jabalpur Railway Station on Friday. Out of 8 volunteers selected from Madhya Pradesh to participate in RDC, three volunteers including Niranjan Bisen (Govt PG College, Balaghat), Sachin Patel (Govt PG College, Katni) and Prachi Jharia (Govt College, Lamta) belonged to colleges affiliated to Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur. Vice-Chancellor of Rani Durgavati University, Professor Rajesh Kumar Verma (virtually) welcomed volunteers and under the leadership of Programme Coordinator Dr Shobhram Mehra and Programme Officer Dr Devanshu Gautam, volunteers from various institutions reached the railway station and welcomed three volunteers with garlands, bouquets and band.
 
From where, cadets were brought to Rani Durgavati University, where MLA Cantt Ashok Rohani welcomed them and wished them a bright future. Every year on the occasion of Republic Day, the Government of India organises Republic Day Parade Camp at New Delhi, in which 200 volunteers selected from 45 lakh NSS volunteers from across the country, get the opportunity to participate in Republic Day Parade Camp. Simultaneously, the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Defense of the Government of India, organised ‘Jaiti Jai Maa Bharatam Utsav’ programme in which Nivedita Nath, a volunteer of NSS, Rani Durgavati University, led the Madhya Pradesh team in a dance performance staged in front of the President of India, Draupadi Murmu on the Kartavya Path. NSS volunteers offered salute to the President of India and got the opportunity to meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the camp. They also interacted with Union Sports Minister Dr Mansukh Mandviya. The volunteers while returning to Madhya Pradesh, were welcomed in Bhopal where they met MP Governor Mangu Bhai Patel, CM Dr Mohan Yadav, Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar and others. Volunteers and officers from various institutions were present.
