In an unprecedented display of achievement and excellence, NCC Group Headquarters Jabalpur hosted a grand felicitation ceremony on Friday, celebrating their historic double triumph - securing the Chief Minister’s Banner after 76 years and achieving record-breaking success at Republic Day Camp 2025. The ceremony, graced by over 100 distinguished guests including 46 proud parents, marked one of the most significant milestones in the group’s illustrious history. Brigadier A G Barbare, Group Commander NCC Jabalpur, who led the group to this historic achievement, presided over the ceremony.
 
The celebration began with a spectacular march-past by the champion contingent, showcasing the precision and discipline that earned them national recognition. The ceremony highlighted extraordinary achievements of the contingent’s stars including PO CDT Aryan Sen (GGITS) - Gold Medalist, securing Rs. 1,55,000, CDT Vasundhara Dubey (Veterinary College) Equestrian Champion with Rs. 1,50,000, CDT CAPT Srishti Mishra (St. Aloysius) Silver Medalist earning Rs. 1,25,000 and JUO Ayush Gautam (GGITS) Innovation Finalist with Rs. 80,000. Under the exemplary leadership of Colonel Vikrant Tyagi, SM, Commanding Officer 1 MP Artillery Regiment, the contingent’s success story unfolded through a spectacular audio-visual presentation. Colonel Anshu, Deputy Group Commander, highlighted the rigorous training regime that produced multiple national-level winners, while Colonel Dinesh, CO 2 MP Girls Bn, Colonel Saurabh Chauhan shared their opinions. While Subedar Major Rakesh Kumar and his team of Havildar Pradeep and Havildar Sushil Kumar were recognized for their crucial role in logistics and training support. The ceremony featured soul-stirring cultural performances by award-winning cadets. The grand celebration, marking total cash awards of Rs. 3,59,000 from CM, Rs. 1,00,000 from DG NCC and Rs. 85,000 from Directorate, sets a new benchmark in NCC history. Brigadier Barbare’s closing remarks emphasized how this achievement would inspire future generations of cadets to aim for even greater heights.
