Commissioner directs traffic management, entry pass, and lighting arrangements regarding GIS

 

 

In a crucial review meeting held at the District Panchayat Hall, Commissioner Sanjeev Singh evaluated the preparations for the upcoming Global Investors Summit. The meeting was attended by Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan, ADM Siddharth Jain, CEO of Smart City Anju Arun Kumar, CEO of District Panchayat . Ila Tiwari, and other concerned officials. During the meeting, Commissioner Singh issued several important directives.

 

He emphasised the need for efficient traffic management, clear communication regarding entry passes, and ensuring smooth transportation for guests attending the summit. He instructed that all visitors should receive detailed information about entry times and locations to avoid any confusion or disruptions. The review also covered the readiness of entry check points, the main event venue, and traffic arrangements. Furthermore, Commissioner Singh instructed that special lighting be arranged in government offices across Bhopal to enhance the city’s appeal during the summit. He also stressed the importance of training drivers for better navigation to event venues, hotels, and parking lots. Additionally, he directed that buses assigned to transport guests should have the names of the destination hotels clearly displayed. To further ensure a seamless experience, the Commissioner ordered the appointment of liaison officers with experience for the summit’s co-ordination and management duties.
