SECR win inaugural match

XI defeated MOIL Officers XI by eight wickets in the inaugural match of Officers T20 Cricket Tournament being played at SB City ground on Saturday. In the second match, Collectors XI defeated Officers XI by six runs. Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by Pradeep Kumar Gupta, DRM, SECR. Asked to bat first by SECR captain Dilip Singh, MOIL XI scored 131 for 7 in 20 overs, SEC Railways achived the target in 17.5 overs scoring 134 for the loss of two wickets. Ayus Khare scored 47 runs and took two wickets for 23 runs. In another match, Collectors XI beat NMC XI by six runs. Ankush Gawande of Collectors XI, who scored 64 runs and took two wickets conceding 35 runs was declared man of the match. Radhey Shukla, A Sarwate, Baburao Yadav, S Wankhede, D Chavhan, L Chickle, A Naidu and Y Tembhre are working hard under the guidance of Dilip Singh Sr Sports Officer and Sr DCM SECR and Shashank Kulshrestha Sports Officer SECR for the success of the meet.
