Central Hospital, Singrauli (NCL) conducted a Nikshay Screening Camp in Khirwa village as part of the ‘TB-Free India’ campaign and the 100-Day Identification and Treatment Drive, on Friday. During the camp, a team of doctors from NCL Central Hospital examined individuals based on TB-related symptoms. More than 80 villagers availed themselves of the health check-up services provided at the camp. In addition to the screening camp, a TB Awareness Rally was organized by NCL Central Hospital, Singrauli, covering nearby areas to spread awareness about the ‘TB-Free India Campaign’ and ensure community participation.

The rally aimed to educate people about TB symptoms, prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment. A large number of school students and hospital staff actively participated in the rally. The event was graced by the presence of CMS, Central Hospital, Singrauli, Dr Manjari Mehta, along with Dr Anita Kumari, Dr Raj Kumar, Dr Om, and several other dignitaries. It may be noted that the Government of India has launched a nationwide 100-Day Identification and Treatment Drive under the TB-Free India campaign.
