VMA hosts session on ‘Breaking barriers, building legacies: A woman entrepreneur’s story’

The dynamic and unique mother-in-law and daughter-in-law duo, Suhas Kulkarni and Rashmi Kulkarni of Zero Systems, Nagpur, emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from competitors to achieve success and stay relevant.
“Every entrepreneur should track their competitors, study their strategies, gain insights, and continuously improve their own business,” they shared during an interactive session in ‘Women’s Day series’ titled ‘Breaking Barriers, Building Legacies: A Woman Entrepreneur’s Story’.
Zero Systems is an industrial design company successfully led by Suhas Kulkarni for over four decades.
With Rashmi Kulkarni joining the business, the company has scaled new heights, built on a strong foundation of academic excellence and
ethical values.
Both Suhas and Rashmi are technically proficient, financially disciplined, and innovative entrepreneurs. They believe in work perfection, timely delivery, clean banking records, and maintaining a consistently strong market reputation.
Their success is driven by their ability to take calculated risks and embrace innovation. With this they could expand business from a Rs 2 crore turnover company to that of Rs 12 crore turnover firm.
Suhas emphasized the importance of accepting people unconditionally and adjusting for those who work with dedication. Rashmi praised Suhas for her sharp business acumen and for allowing the younger generation the space to make decisions and experiment. She believes that women are natural managers and credited family support as a crucial factor in their journey.
The event, was organised by the Vidarbha Management Association (VMA) at Chitnavis Centre. Dr Rashmi Bansal moderated the session while Sumit Prithyani was session in-charge.
