‘Local issues of Cantt Board area farmers to be resolved at local level’

 

 

Member of Parliament, Ashish Dubey and MLA Ashok Rohani, on Tuesday held a meeting to discuss and address the issues faced by farmers in the Cantonment Board area under the Cantt Assembly constituency. During the meeting, they listened to the concerns of farmers in detail and assured them that local issues would be resolved at the local level, while central issues would be taken up with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh for resolution. Both the MP and the MLA held detailed discussion on key issues including expediting the land exchange process for bungalows and gardens. Granting permission for minor repair works within the Cantonment Board. Identifying and addressing basic infrastructure needs in the area.

 

Expedite the merger process of the Cantonment Board with the Municipal Corporation. Providing interest relief on taxes imposed by the Cantonment Board. Enhancing sports facilities at Shivaji Ground. Opening the Barochi Temple in Gora Bazaar for public access. Allowing Bilhari cemetery ground to be used for sports activities and resolving issues in the Karaundi area. Those participated in the meeting were Sundar Agarwal, Ashish Rao, Saurabh Goyal, Ajay Padam, Govind Yadav, Sanjay Kapoor, Vijay Patel, Ved Mahawar, Sanjay Verma, Rakesh Pasi and many farmer.
