ACCORDING to the India
Meteorological Department
(IMD), Bhopal is expected to
experience clear skies throughout the day on March 8. The maximum temperature is predicted
to reach 33°C, while the minimum
temperature is likely to be around
12°C. The wind speed is anticipated to be between 10 and 12
km/h, providing a mild breeze
across the city.
Over the past 24 hours, Bhopal
recorded a maximum temperature of 30.2°C, which is 1.4°C
below normal, while the minimum temperature dropped to
10.5°C, marking a significant
decrease of 2.4°C below the average. The relative humidity in the
morning stood at 47%, with no
recorded rainfall in the city.
According to IMD, a gradual
rise in temperatures is expected
in the coming days, with an
increase of 2 to 4°C anticipated.
While the weather will remain dry
across all districts, cold wave
conditions have been observed
in parts of Shahdol, Umaria, and
Mandla districts.
However, no
such cold wave warnings have
been issued for Bhopal.
IMD advises residents to take
necessary precautions as the
temperature rises. Since there is
no rainfall forecast, dry conditions may impact agriculture.
Farmers are recommended to
irrigate their crops lightly to
maintain soil moisture, particularly for wheat, mustard,
and pigeon pea crops.
Additionally, they should follow integrated pest management (IPM) practices to protect crops from potential infestations.
With clear skies and rising
temperatures, Bhopal residents can expect a warm but
pleasant day ahead. People are
advised to stay hydrated and
take precautions against temperature fluctuations,
especially during morning
and evening hours when it
remains cooler.
