The Nagpur Chapter of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) marked the 21st Foundation Day of the organisation with a vibrant celebration held in collaboration with the Photography Association (NPPA) of Nagpur and Arihant Hospital, recently. Noted personality for ‘Sampark Aur Samvaad’ Sanjay Agrawal attended the programme as the chief guest.

 

Founder of Arihant Hospitals Nikhil Kusumgar and Director Dr Pallak Kusumgar Shah, President of the Press Photography Association of Nagpur (NPPA) Sandeep Gurghate and National Executive Body Member of PRCI and Senior Vice President (Central India), Asheesh Tayal were present along with other prominent personalities. The celebration took a heartfelt turn as PRCI felicitated five senior photo-video journalists namely Shailesh Mishra, Vinay Lohit, Suresh (Chotu) Vaitage, Anirudha Kapatkar, and Satish Raut for their distinguished contributions to the media fraternity over the years.

 

Their names and achievements were acknowledged with pride and gratitude, honouring their dedication. Senior photographer Anant Mule shared his experience in an entertaining viewpoint and choice of words. In a commendable gesture of community service, a free eye check-up camp was conducted post-event for media professionals under the aegis of Arihant Multispeciality Hospital. Nearly 50 media personnel availed the free health service, reinforcing Public Relations Council of India’s commitment to the well-being of the journalism and communication community. The event saw active participation from local leadership, including PRCI office bearers Nikhilesh Sawarkar, Tarun Nirban, Sajid Khwaja, and Swapnil Bhogekar played key roles in the seamless execution of the programme.
