CITY’S Roshan Choudhary, attended Swimming Level 1 training camp organised by the Swimming Federation of India (SFI) in Ahmedabad. The three-day training programme was hosted by internationally acclaimed American coach Chris Martin. Choudhary, Sports HOD at Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar, and Secretary of the Aquatic Association, Nagpur, successfully cleared the online exam and was selected to participate in this prestigious training programme. Choudhary was the first participant from Vidarbha to be selected for this level.

 

This intensive training programme was aimed at enhancing the knowledge and coaching capabilities of aspiring swimming professionals across the country. Participants were required to clear an online examination as part of the selection criteria, ensuring that only the most dedicated and competent individuals progressed to the next level. The event marked a significant step toward strengthening India’s grassroots coaching ecosystem and aligning national standards with global practices.
