IN A significant stride towards community healthcare upliftment, Dr Hemant Shard Pande, Director (HR) of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), inaugurated a suite of advanced medical equipment at Dr Hedgewar Blood Centre, Nagpur. This initiative with an expense of Rs 169.26 lakh is executed under WCL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The newly introduced equipment includes the cutting-edge Spectra Optia Apheresis System, Cryofuge Centrifuges and the Evolis 4 Plate ELISA Processor, which together will vastly enhance the Centre’s capabilities in serving patients with thalassemia, sickle cell disease, and other critical condition
