Yogesh Padole-Vikrant Gulati thrashed Bhawanisingh Raje Bhonsle-Kiran Rathod by an innings with the scoreboard reading 228-22 in the second round of the on-going Central Provinces Club’s Late Advocate MB Naidu Memorial Snicket Tournament.
Padole-Gulati vroomed to score 128 points in the first frame. A lot was expected from Bhonsle-Rathod pair but to utter surprise they could not score a single point.
Padole-Gulati comfortably took all the 10 red balls forcing their opponents to follow-on.
Bhonsle-Rathod once again failed and managed only 22 points. Padole-Gulati got additional penalty points of 100 on account of innings win.
In another match, Tarun Mohta and his partner defeated Saurabh Singhani-Bhavya Mehta by an innings registering a 214-42 verdict. Scoring first, Mohta and his partner scored 114 against which Singhania-Mehta could manage 31.
By default Singhania-Mehta were given follow-on where they again potted 11 points.
