forecasts more thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds for next couple of days in Vidarbha

Overcast sky gave some respite to the citizens from the sweltering heat as most of the districts in Vidarbha witnessed drop in maximum temperature on Saturday.
In Nagpur, the day temperature was recorded
at 42.6, a drop by 1.5 degrees Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD), on Saturday, issued an ‘Orange’ alert of moderate thunderstorm accompanied with lightning, gusty winds (Speed reaching upto 50-60 kmph) is very likely to occur at a few places. Also, hailstorm is likely to occur at isolated places over Chandrapur, Gadchiroli and Yavatmal districts on April 27.
Whereas, the same weather conditions will prevail with less intensity in remaining parts of Vidarbha, including Nagpur district, on Sunday.
After days of oppressive heat, Nagpur city witnessed pleasant weather on
Saturday evening and partially cloudy weather throughout the day reduced the maximum temperature by around 1.50 C in last 24 hours. The Weather Department has predicted light to moderate rains in some parts of Vidarbha, including Nagpur, on Sunday.
Due to cloudy weather all over Vidarbha, the maximum temperature in the region reduced by 1-40 C in last 24 hours. With 44.20 C, Brahmapuri was the hottest in Vidarbha on Saturday. Chandrapur district, where the mercury crossed the 450 C mark from last one week, witnessed a 3.40 C drop in the day temperature in just 24 hours
