JATIN Kale and Parth Majumdar reigned supreme as they recorded an innings win over Tarun Mohta and his partner in the ongoing Central Provinces Club’s Late Advocate MB Naidu Memorial Snicket Tournament.
The Kale-Majumdar pair registered 173-68 win in their second round game. Potting first, Kale-Majumdar scored 73 and then restricted Mohta and partner at 40 giving them follow-on. Mohta’s team could put up just 28 and then Kale potted all 19 red balls in one break to seal the match in his team’s favour.
In another match, Abhishek Rai and Sunil Kamwani defeated Pankaj Chokhani Siddharth Samel 153-142. Scoring first, Rai-Kamwani scored 103 against which Chokhani Samel put up 57. In the third frame, Rai-Kamwani made 50 and restricted their opponents at 85.
