In a tragic incident, a man was killed and another was injured after a speeding car rammed into their motorcycle near Chulha Golai area under the jurisdiction of Tilwara police station late night on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Narendra Barman (26), a resident of village Ghana while condition of Surendra Barman is reported to be stable and is undergoing treatment in hospital. According to Tilwara police, in the night of April 25, 2025, Vinod Barman, (37), a resident of village Ghana, lodged a complaint of an accident.
He informed that he, along with Sanjay Barman and Narendra Barman, had gone to Bargi for labour work, each travelling on their respective motorcycles. While returning home after completing their work, at around 9:30 pm near Chulha Golai turn, a speeding car (MP-20CK-9193) being driven recklessly from behind rammed into Narendra Barman’s motorcycle. As a result, Narendra Barman and Surendra Barman, who was riding with him, fell off the motorcycle and sustained injuries.
Narendra suffered a serious head injury while Surendra sustained injuries on his hand and face. Both were immediately rushed to Medical College in 1033 Ambulance Service.
On their examination, doctors declared Narendra Barman dead. Acting on the complaint, Tilwara police have registered a case while further investigation is underway to ascertain reason behind the accident.
