condemns Pakistan for sheltering terrorists n Staff Reporter In order to vent ire against Pakistan-supported terrorist attack at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, a large number of senior office-bearers and members of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) placed Pakistan’s flag on the road at Shankaracharya Chowk and trampled it. They condemned Pakistan for sheltering terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam terror attack. A large number of passersby also joined in, expressing their anger by running their vehicles over the flag, denouncing the recent terror attack. BJYM leaders stated that Pakistan-backed terrorists committed a heinous crime by brutally killing innocent civilians in Pahalgam. The inhuman and cowardly act was based purely on religious grounds. “Today, by pasting Pakistan’s flags on the road at Shankaracharya Chowk and crushing them underfoot, we sent a clear message that very soon, our Indian Army will crush these terrorists and their protectors in the same manner,” the BJYM leaders said.
 
The general public also expressed anger, with many stamping on the flags with shoes and slippers or running vehicles over them in fury. Those participated in the protest were Yogendra Singh, Pankaj Dubey, Harish Thakur, Shubham Arihant, Ankit Pathak, Vivek Singh, Prashant Gupta, Vaibhav Chaurasia, Santosh Yadav, Piyush Samdariya and many others. Digambar Jain Social Group holds candles march n Staff Reporter On the call of Rashtriya Digambar Jain Social Group Federation, more than 33,500 members from over 350 groups across the country organised candle marches in their respective cities to pay tributes to those killed in the terrorist attack, on Saturday. In Jabalpur, national officials of the Federation, regional leaders from Mahakaushal-Vindhya, office-bearers from all five local social groups and members gathered near Lordganj police station. From there, the candle march proceeded to Malviya Chowk, where tributes were paid to the departed.
 
Around 200 men and women participated in the march. During the event, community members condemned the recent cowardly terrorist attack on innocent civilians in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, calling it an unforgivable crime. They appealed to the government, army and security forces to act strongly against terrorism. Those participated in the march were Federation National General Secretary Vinay Jain, Mahakaushal-Vindhya Region President Manoj Jain, Secretary Hemant Jain, Media In-charge Nitin Jain, National Joint Secretary Sanjay Samyak, Treasurer Sunil Ghiya, and other leaders including Pradeep Jain, Praveen Singhai, Prashant Jain, Satish Vardhman, Rashmi Paras, Sadhana Jain, Mulkraj Badsha, Prafull Jain, Avkash Jain, Alok Jain and others.
 
AAP offers prayers for innocent victims AAP organised a tribute-paying programme at Malviya Chowk to honour the civilians killed in the Pahalgam terror attack. Party members lit candles and offered prayers for the peace of the departed souls and also observed a two-minute silence. AAP leaders emphasised that terrorism, in any form, is a curse to humanity. They condemned the cowardly attacks that threaten the nation’s unity and peace and paid tributes to the people who lost their lives. Those present were State Organisation Minister Ramkishore Shivhare, Ritesh Singh, Aadesh Dubey, T N Tripathi, Brajesh Chaturvedi, Wasim Khan, Sonu Bhattacharya, Prashant Chouksey and others.
