Six men arrested for running online betting

Continuing their crackdown on illegal online betting, Raipur Police have raided a location in Dwarka, Delhi, targeting ‘KABooK Panel No. 108 and 10,’ and arrested six bookies, including one from Madhya Pradesh.
The arrested individuals include the operator of the KABooK panels, Rakesh Madnani alias Daki, along with two individuals from Raipur, two from Bilaspur, and one from Dhamtari. During the raid, police seized a significant amount of material used for operating the betting racket, including 17 mobile phones, three laptops, 27 ATM and debit cards, 22 bank passbooks, seven chequebooks, and one camera, with a total estimated value of Rs 6,00,000.
A case has been registered against the bookies at Khamardih Police Station under Crime No. 84/25, invoking relevant sections of the CG Gambling Prohibition Act 2022 and the Indian Telegraph Act.
This successful operation brings the total number of arrests in online betting cases related to the IPL Cricket Match - 2025 season to 63, across 21 cases, with seized goods now valued at approximately Rs 1 crore. The investigation leading to this Delhi raid began with the arrest of two individuals in Raipur on April 12th for operating online betting through the Kingdom App and I4U777. Interrogation of these individuals and technical analysis provided crucial leads, prompting the raid in Dwarka. The arrested individuals were found to be operating betting through the KABooK panel numbers 108 and 10. Raipur Police reiterate their commitment to continue their relentless action against online cricket betting operations.
The accused have been identified as Rakesh Madnani alias Daki (36), son of father Nirmal Madnani, resident New Rajendra Park near Anmol Super Market Mahavir Nagar Police Station New Rajendra Nagar Raipur, Ghanshyam Manuja alias Bablu (21), son of Vasudev Vakil Manuja, resident near Gurunanak Chowk Torwa Police Station Torwa District Bilaspur, Gagan Tolani (30),son of Ashok Tolani, resident near Jain temple Sarkanda Police Station Sarkanda District Bilaspur, Dharmendra Rajani alias Sonu (32), son of Laxmi Chand Rajani, resident 83/2 New Jagdamba Colony Police Station Vijay Nagar District Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh, Vivek Narsinghani (32), son of Manohar Lal Narsinghani, resident Atwani Gali Khet Para Police Station City Kotwali District Dhamtari and Vikash Tarwani alias Babu (32), son of Late Ramesh Kumar Tarwani age 32 years resident of Lakhe Nagar Mahant Para House No. 58/572 Police Station Azad Chowk Raipur.
