Senco Gold & Diamonds, one of the leading jewellery brands in the country, opened its Vidarbha’s first showroom here in the city on Friday. It is the 178th outlet of the company. Spread across 5,500 square feet area, the new showroom is located on South Ambazari Road, Opposite Bandhan Bank, Laxmi Nagar. The new store showcases a blend of traditional and contemporary jewellery from lightweight modern designs to traditional wedding pieces.

Expressing his views on the occasion, Suvankar Sen, Managing Director of Senco Gold Ltd, said “Vidarbha holds a special place in our hearts, and we are delighted to expand our presence in this region. We are planning to open six to seven more showrooms in the region in couple of years.”

 

Sen said, “Actual craftsmanship lies in the ideas and creativity of a karigar. We emphasize on intricate designs and create them in the most desired way. A significant portion of the manufacturing of our jewellery is carried out by experienced karigars across the nation. The karigars associated with our company are renowned for their artistic work and finesse in carving and processing plain gold, studded gold, platinum, diamond and polki ornaments.

Sen highlighted that, “One of our key strengths lies in the craftsmanship of our Bengali Karigars. The manufacturing of our jewellery is carried out by extremely experienced Karigars in Kolkata, who sincerely create beautiful designs like filigree, meenakari, polki, jadau, temple jewellery and many more designs.”

 

He further added, “Our strength lies in heavy bridal and light-weight gold jewellery products. The craftsmanship of our karigars is well-known for intricate filigree work with thin gold wires and small beads, known as nakshi workmanship with etching and curving in gold.” Starting from traditional designs to contemporary jewellery, the company aims at making its impression through all the chores of the vicinity. “We offer a wide variety of jewellery options, including rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, necklaces, nosepins, mangalsutras, chains and bangles,” Sen said.
