 India diaspora paying tribute to vixctim of Pahalgam terror attack in the premises of Consulate General of India office at Brisbane, Australia.

INDIAN Community in Brisbane, Australia gathered at the office premises of Consulate General of India and carried a candlelight vigil observing a one-minute silence for victims of the Pahalgam terrorist massacre. The Indian community members expressed their deepest condolences and also anger at the ghastly incident and bestowed their full support behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Government to hunt down the terrorists andtheir backers. 
 
CEO of Institute for Australia India Engagement Dr Ashutosh Misra also joined the community members along with his wife Sweta Misra and 90 years old mother Pratibha Misra. Dr Misra expressed his anger at this heinous act and called upon the members to send a loud call to the perpetrators of terrorism that India will hunt them down. The place then echoed with the loud chants of Bharat Mata ki Jai, Vande Matram. Convenor of Indian Medical Association of Queensland (IMAQ) Dr Neeraj Khanna and his wife Dr Madhu Khanna, Convenor of Kala Bharti condemned the incident in the strongest words. Dr Sidd Sarma, Dr Mala Sarma Barman, Dr Akshay Misra, Dr Cyril Fernandez from IMAQ also shared their thoughts. Prominent Indian members including Dr Raj Gupta, Parvesh Gupta, Dr Alka Kothari, Kirti Vyas from Raipur, Varun Gupta, Harpreet Kohli, Parnam Heir among others were also present on the occasion. The members sang Indian national Anthem and sent a loud message that terrorism cannot be tolerated, and India and the international community should bring state sponsors of terrorism to the book to ensure that no such incidents occur in the future again.
