“Without putting any pressure on me, my parents urged me to focus on learning concepts,” said an ecstatic Mahvish Khan, having scored 97.2 per cent marks in the ICSE Class 10th examination. The only child of Shabana and Amjad Khan, Mahvish is a student of Marie Poussepin School.
Mahvish claims that her focus was more on Maths and Science, “as they require a lot of practice. The young achiever said, she would opt for a PCM (Physics Chemistry and Maths) combination for her 11th-12h and would prefer to appear for the next Boards through State Board. Meanwhile, Mahvish unwinds with music and said that it helped her.
She informed that she prepared a lot of notes and that too helped her in studies. But she credits her success most to her helping her friends with studies as this indirectly made her improve her own subjects. She also relied heavily on online platforms for study material.
