Unconditional love is discussed so much and while there will be infinite examples of it, it exists in its truest form in the heart of a mother.
From childhood to adulthood, from when we are learning the first words of our life to when we are scaling the mountain of success, she is the strong force that backs us. Her love is almost omnipresent. Simple, yet deep.
It is the first light that we see, the first sound that we hear, and the first heart that beats only for us. Our bonding for our mother begins even when we do not know the world yet. Mother’s love also makes her be tough on us at times, but her rebuke, her punishments are only to make us better.
There is a profound affinity when when she pushes us away to punish us for our mistakes. She is always more hurt doing it that we are. When we were failing, she is our comfort. When we were in doubt, she has the answers. Even on becoming adults, struggling to make it in this cruel world, we still find ourselves turning to her for advice.
A mother, by the default advantage of being a woman, has great patience too. She guards us during sleepless nights, puts aside her own needs for ours. Salute to the Mother! She’s truly is the Almighty’s lifelong blessing to us.
