Cradle pip Nagpur City

 

 

CRADLE FC pipped Nagpur City via penalty shoot-out in the NDFA Inter Academy Under-13 boys tournament underway at Dr Ambedkar Ground in Suyog Nagar on Sunday. After the match ended 1-1 at end of the scheduled time, Cradle got the better of Nagpur City 4-3 in the spot kicks. Ayan put Nagpur City ahead in the 16th minute. After the half-time, Arav levelled the score for Cradle in the 31st minute of play. In the ensuing shoot-out, Nagpur City’s Riyan, Aryan and Arya scored while for the winners, Satvik, Naitik, Arjun and Vedant found the target. In the second match, MAC FA lost 0-1 to FC Koradi. The deciding goal was scored by Ved Bagale in the 28th minute. Two of the four quarter-finals will be played on Monday. In the first quarters, Sankalp FA will play NSA while in the later game, Shree Football Academy will take on Porwal FA.
