Rave party busted at farmhouse in Kamptee; four men arrested, 4 women from Mumbai detained

A team from the Social Security Branch and the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of the Nagpur Police raided a farmhouse in New Kamptee late Saturday night and uncovered a rave party. During the raid, the police arrested four men, including a builder and found four young women in a drunken state. The women were detained for questioning and are believed to be residents of Mumbai.
The arrested accused have been identified as Sunil Shankarlal Agarwal (61), a resident of 12, Ramlaxmi Colony in Kamptee; Gautam Sushil Jain (51), a resident of Plot No 120, Farmland, Ramdaspeth; Nilesh Babulal Gadiya (61), a resident of Flat No 203, Kamal Palace, Ramdaspeth and Mitesh Mohanlal Khakkar (48), a resident 11th floor, Tatva Apartment, Ramdaspeth.
According to the police, Sunil Agarwal is a builder, and the other three accused are property dealers.
As per information provided by the police, Sunil Agarwal owns a farmhouse named ‘S Farm’ in Kamptee. On Saturday night, he organised a rave party at this location. For the event, four young women were specially invited from Mumbai. The police said that drugs like MD (Mephedrone), hookah setups, and liquor were made available at the party. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Detection Rahul Maknikar, received a tip-off about the illegal party. Acting on this information, a police team raided the farmhouse at around 1 am.
During the raid, police found 1.31 grams of MD, hookah
equipment, and several liquor bottles.
They seized six mobile phones, two cars and other items with a total estimated value of Rs 26 lakh.
A case has been registered against the four accused at the New Kamptee police station under various sections of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. All four men were taken into custody. The young women present at the party were also taken in for questioning as part of the investigation.
Police are now trying to find out who supplied the MD drugs to Sunil Agarwal. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests may follow in the case.
The arrest was made by Assistant Commissioner of Police Dr Abhijeet Patil and Police Inspector Gajanan Gulhane, along with other officers including WPI Lalita Todase, API Manoj Ghurde, and others.
