SWA’s wrestling camp begins

 

 

THE summer wrestling training camp organised by Star Wrestling Academy (SWA), in association with the Directorate of Sports and Youth Services, Pune, and District Sports Office, Nagpur got under way at the Divisional Sports Complex, Mankapur, Nagpur. This training camp has been organised with the main objective of instilling the habit of exercise in boys and girls, and to promote traditional sports like wrestling. This camp was inaugurated by newly-appointed sports coach Nishant Patil. Shriram Pendam of Ramrao Amrute Vyayam Shala presided over. On this occasion, Atharva Bhosale, Swapnil Bansod, Bhushan Ingle were present.

 

Dilip Itankar, President, Star Wrestling Academy made introductory remarks. Secretary Nilesh Raut conducted the programme while Dr Chandrashekhar Game proposed a vote of thanks. Kartik Bhande, Shriram Pendam, Nilesh Raut will be the coaches for this camp. SWA’s national players Ashish Varade, Anjali Gajbhiye, Rishika Game, Rudaika Raut, Saumya Raut, Divyaata Raut, Janvi Raut are among the participants in the camp. The camp time will be from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Those interested in joining this camp, that runs till June 30, may contact Nilesh Raut or Dilip Itankar at the venue for further information.
