The quandary between peace and war
One of the most difficult to decipher
Peace does not come easily,
And war drains you completely.
No gains in just lingering in between
Some wars need to be fought to win,
Either to protect what is ours in our realm
On the field, or maybe also deep within.
The truth always wins in the end
To save dharma, serve swa-dharma,
Lord Krishna always proclaims.
He with the words firm,
Repeats ages after ages,
Serve what is right to your nature,
Even the act of blessing becomes a savior,
Like a heartfelt prayer for our soldiers
And all others who save our lives
With bravery and utmost sacrifice.
The quandary is not about peace or war,
But to dispel darkness from the world,
Light always remains there,
And the choice is always yours.
All the battles on the field or within,
Are to be fought to find peace,
For humanity, for your motherland
To serve is what you can do in the least.
To find the world where kindness exists
Let’s strive to find our peace.
