MIA discusses security issues with senior police officers

 

 

 

 

With the aim of strengthening industrial security and enhancing coordination with law enforcement, the MIDC Industries Association (MIA), Nagpur recently organised a high-level dialogue with senior police officials to address key concerns of the Hingna MIDC industrial area. The session was chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 1) Lohit Matani. ACP Satish Gurav (MIDC Zone); ACP Ashok Shirke (Sonegaon Zone); Senior Police Inspectors from MIDC, Hingna, Wadi, Sonegaon, Pratap Nagar, and Bajaj Nagar police stations were also present.

 

On the occasion, the issues like encroachment on industrial roads and open spaces; concerns regarding increasing encroachments that obstruct goods transportation, logistics, and emergency/fire services; cybersecurity and digital threats; etc. were highlighted. The session was anchored by Sachin Jain, Ajay Agrawal, Arun Lanjewar, and Nishant Birla (MIA), enabling focused and constructive dialogue. Captain Randhir, Ganesh Jaiswal, Arvind Kaliya, Praveen Palkar, Charan Singh, and Rakesh Gupta – also actively participated, says a press release issued by P Mohan, MIA President.
