In the rave party bust case, the police have identified the venue, ‘S Farm’, as a potential hub for illicit activities, including drug consumption and trafficking. Although only 1.31 grams of Mephedrone (MD) was seized, investigators believe the accused may have hidden additional quantities of the drug at other locations, including their residences. According to officials, the raid was carried out around 1 am on Saturday night following a tip-off. During the operation, police seized 1.31 grams of Mephedrone (MD), a synthetic drug, along with hookah setups, multiple liquor bottles, six mobile phones, and two vehicles.

The total value of the seized items is estimated at Rs 26 lakh. The accused include Sunil Shankarlal Agarwal (61), the owner of the farmhouse and a resident of Ramlaxmi Colony, Kamptee. He, along with three others Gautam Jain (51), a resident of Farmland, Ramdaspeth; Nilesh Babulal Gadiya (61), a resident of Kamal Palace, Ramdaspeth and Mitesh Khakkar, were produced in court and later, released on bail. The bail was granted as the quantity of drugs seized was minimal, qualifying the offence under the ‘drug consumption’ category, which carries a maximum punishment of one year under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Sources revealed that one young woman and three middle-aged women were specially invited for the party, and that MD, alcohol, and hookah arrangements were made in advance. Though the amount of drugs found was small, investigators suspect that a larger stash may have been hidden at the accused’s residences or other locations. The cops are searching for the drug supplier. A case has been registered at the New Kamptee Police Station under various provisions of the NDPS Act. Police officials are continuing their investigation to uncover any wider drug distribution network linked to venue.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone 4 Niketan Kadam confirmed that ‘S Farm’ had been under the police radar for months following complaints of suspicious activities. “We had received multiple tips about frequent gatherings and loud parties at the location,” the officer stated. The recent raid corroborated these earlier complaints and strengthened the suspicion of ongoing illegal operations.
