Hard work, regular studies guide Akshara to be probable city topper in SSC

 

Hard work and regular studies helped Akshara Gaidhane to become the probable joint-city topper in SSC examination, the results of which were declared on Tuesday. Akshara, who is a student of Somalwar High School, Ramdaspeth, scored 98.4% marks in the examination. Her father Shashank is an Accounts Manager in Tuli Imperial and mother Sujata is a home-maker. Her elder sister Ayushi is pursuing BDS. Akshara shared the credit of her success with family and parents who always supported her throughout academic session. “Regular study and revision were the key to my success,” said Akshara, while interacting with ‘The Hitavada’. Akshara considers Bharat Ratna and former President of India Dr A P J Abdul Kalam as her role model and aspires to become a ‘Space Scientist’ like him. For this, she is planning to pursue Science stream in Class 11 as well. She actively participated in various extra-curricular activities throughout the session. However, she never compromised on her studies for other activities. She thanked her parents and teachers for their constant support.
