TUSHAR Mirani, a student of Class X from The Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School, has achieved an impressive score of 93.4 per cent in the Maharashtra State Board SSC Examination, the results of which were announced on Tuesday. Tushar, who is visually impaired, demonstrated determination and self-discipline in preparing for the board exams. His mother, Samiksha Mirani, shared with ‘The Hitavada’ that Tushar faces challenges in reading small print but can manage well with larger fonts.

He made use of a magnifying glass while studying from textbooks and received question papers in enlarged print format to assist his reading. Tushar’s mother expressed gratitude towards the school for its constant support. “The teachers provided last year’s notebooks for reference, and his classmates were always ready to help him during lessons,” she said.Tushar’s father, Ravindra Mirani, is a working professional, and mother Samiksha is a teacher.
