TUSHAR Mirani, a student of Class X from
The Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle
English Medium School, has achieved an
impressive score of 93.4 per cent in the
Maharashtra State Board SSC Examination,
the results of which were announced
on Tuesday.
Tushar, who is visually impaired, demonstrated determination and self-discipline in preparing for the board exams. His mother, Samiksha
Mirani, shared with ‘The
Hitavada’ that Tushar faces
challenges in reading small
print but can manage well with
larger fonts.
He made use of
a magnifying glass while
studying from textbooks and
received question papers in
enlarged print format to assist
his reading. Tushar was selfmotivated with a clear goal in
mind, to score above 90 per
cent and he succeeded. He
plans to pursue Commerce
and aspires to become a
Chartered Accountant.
Tushar’s mother expressed
gratitude towards the school
for its constant support. “The
teachers provided last year’s
notebooks for reference, and
his classmates were always
ready to help him during lessons,” she said.Tushar’s father,
Ravindra Mirani, is a working
professional, and mother
Samiksha is a teacher.
