“Summer camp is a great opportunity to explore new things or dive deep into areas you are passionate about”. With the same enthusiasm and passion, the ‘Khelo Joy Summer Adventure 2025’ was organised at Joy Senior Secondary School which registered overwhelming response from the students. The summer camp was concluded with a grand ceremony, celebrating the campers' achievements and experiences. The summer camp started on May 1, 2025 infused a new energy and enthusiasm among the students and the training staff as well. Under the Summer Adventure, the students obtained detailed and intensive training in various sports activities like cricket, fitness, chess etc. imparted by skilled and experienced trainers, on the other hand, efforts were made to nurture creativity and bring out hidden talents of students.
 
Effective training was given in handwriting, calligraphy and other activities like fireless cooking, classical dance, music, musical instruments, art and karate, skating, shooting, table tennis, fencing, archery, physical and interesting training in artistic and semi-classical dance, western dance, folk craft etc. Certificates were distributed among the participants and winners of chess, shooting and archery received certificates and mementos, the volunteers, incharges of various activities were appreciated and felicitated with a certificate for their dedication and commitment. Earlier, Principal, Rashmi Mishra, Vice-Principal, Neenu Mebon Major Tanay Mebon welcomed the guardians and shared the highlights of the camp activities with them. Parents were called for photo sessions with their child for certificate distribution which has happened for the first time.
 
The parents and children had a gala time. The ceremony marked the end of an unforgettable journey, filled with adventure, learning, and friendship. The tiny-tots from ‘Wings of Joy’ put a stall for their delicious delicacies and an art gallery was put were the craft items were exhibited. The lovely campers departed with new skills, confidence, and cherished memories, eagerly looking forward to future reunions. The camp aimed at keeping the students engaged and provided them an even platform to explore and express their creativity in any form as per their interest. They not only made memories while having fun but they were able to overcome their fears, try new thing, pushed their boundaries and realised self sufficiency .They were able to make new friends amidst lot of fun and learnt team spirit and be more confident. Camp Incharge, Twinkle Mehta, Dr Anurag Shrivastava, Jitendra Singh, Neha and Supriya Shrivastava along with the school staff rendered remarkable support to make the camp successful.
