Deputy Chief Minister and Minister In-charge of Sagar district Rajendra Shukla during his visit to Sagar on Friday inaugurated the work of pond renovation and under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan and dedicated to public Chief Minister Sanjeevani Clinic in Banda. Addressing the gathering, Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said that under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan, old water sources should be revived and made potable. During the inauguration programme of Sanjeevani Clinic, he said that the behavior and conduct of a doctor makes even a small hospital big. Addressing the bhoomipujan programme of road construction here, he said that economic revolution and prosperity come from roads.
 
On the occasion, Banda MLA Virendra Singh Lodhi, Shyam Tiwari, Rani Kushwaha, Jahar Singh, Vaibhav Kukrele, Manish Yadav, Lokendra Singh, Murarilal Asati, Mahendra Jain, SP Vikas Shahwal, Additional Collector Rupesh Upadhyay, SDM Ravish Srivastava, Shikha Soni, Joint Director Public Health Dr Neena Gidian, CMHO Dr Mamta Timore, Dr Sushila Bhargava along with other public representatives and a large number of officers and local public were present. Minister Incharge Rajendra Shukla said that through this Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan started under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, work of water conservation and water recharging is being done in entire Bundelkhand including Madhya Pradesh.
 
Through this programme, work is being done to revive and conserve old water sources. He suggested for building rain water harvesting system, recharge pits and run a campaign to conserve water. He directed that physical verification of all the works should also be done so that their quality remains intact. The Deputy CM directed that whatever problem is there in the community health center of Banda will be fixed immediately, especially the proposal for the boundary wall should be prepared and sent soon so that construction work can be done. He said that LS ambulances will also be made available in Banda and Shahgarh. He said that Health Department buildings worth Rs 212 crore are being built in Sagar district alone. MLA Banda Virendra Singh Lodhi said that under Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan, problem of drinking water will be solved. All should work together in the campaign to conserve rainwater. It will be ensured that every village of Banda should be free from the problem of water. Joint Director Public Health Department Dr Neena Gidian delivered the welcome speech.
