A young man died after being hit by a train near Sarasdol in Ghansor police station area of Seoni district. The incident took place at 11:30 am when two youths had gone to the railway track to make reels and take photographs. After a train passed, both of them started taking photographs again. During this time, they could not see the demo train coming from behind. One youth moved away from the track in time. The other youth got hit by the train. Ghansor police reached the spot as soon as the information of the incident was received.

 

Police prepared a Panchnama of the dead body and sent it for post-mortem. The ID card and mobile phone of the deceased have been recovered from the spot. The surviving youth Nitin Yadav said that he heard the sound of the first train but the demo train coming from behind could not be seen. Police Station In-charge, Laxman Singh Jharia said that the deceased has been identified as Akash Rathore. Police is investigating the incident by registering a case. According to the local people, both the youths were first making reels on the road. Later they went near the railway tracks, where this accident happened.
