ARIHANT Multispeciality Hospital recently conducted Central India’s first-ever Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) workshop, marking a significant milestone in critical care training in the region. The event brought together critical care specialists and intensivists from across Central India, offering them a unique opportunity for hands-on learning and practical exposure. The workshop was led by experts Dr Ramesh Hasani and Dr Utkarsh Shah, who conducted in-depth sessions on vital ICU applications of ultrasound. Participants received live demonstrations in lung ultrasound, venous access, echocardiography, and abdominal scanning techniques that are becoming essential in intensive care settings.

Speaking at the event, Dr Ramesh Hasani stated, “Point-of-Care Ultrasound is revolutionising ICU patient care. It enables doctors to make accurate clinical decisions right at the bedside.” Dr Utkarsh Shah said, “This workshop successfully bridged the gap between advanced technology and practical medical care. The support and initiative shown by Arihant Multispeciality Hospital have been commendable.”
