An innovative and eco-conscious initiative of Gomay Kala Kendra, operated by Go Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra, Deolapar (Nagpur), is now making a divine mark on the international stage. Idols of Lord Ganesha made entirely from Gomay (cow dung) will now be established in North America and Cambodia. National General Secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Milind Parande, recently paid a visit to Gomay Kala Kendra, Deolapar. On this occasion, a shipment of 60 idols was dispatched to North Carolina, USA by his hands.

 

Gomay Kala Kendra is a visionary initiative of Go Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra, where sacred idols rooted in our traditions are crafted by the skilled hands of tribal and rural women. This concept is result of the visionary leadership and efforts of Padmesh Gupta, President; Hemant Jambhekar, Working President, Santkumar Gupta, Secretary, and the entire executive committee.
