Saanidhya Borkar, a student of Class X Bhavan's B.P. Vidya Mandir, Koradi, Nagpur, brought laurels not only to the school but to the entire city. Saanidhya has been selected for the YUVIKA 2025 Young Scientist Program organised by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Department of Space (DOS).
There were 4 lakh applications of which only 350 students got selected across the country, and 12 students from Maharashtra were selected with Saanidhya Borkar being the only one to get selected from Nagpur city.
The selection was based on the performance in an on-line quiz organised by ISRO, along with academic and co-scholastic achievements over the past three academic years.
Saanidhya has left for a 15-day, onsite, fully sponsored residential programme and acquired a golden opportunity to explore India’s space technology, science innovation and innovation culture at their centre. The management, Principal, Sarbani Bose and the entire staff congratulated Saanidhya for his remarkable achievement.
