Five Vid players for Vajpayee meet
 
IT IS a matter of pride for Vidarbha that five of its players have been selected for the prestigious Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial National T20 Disabled Cricket Trophy to be organised in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh from May 24 to 27, informs Sanjay Bhoskar, President, Vidarbha Divyang Cricket Association through a press release. The five players are Irshad Khan, Nagesh Igale, Arjun Vaidya, Mohd Azhar and Rahul Bhondekar.
 
This special event is being organised by Differently Abled Cricket Council of India in collaboration with Chhattisgarh Divyang Cricket Association. In this national-level tournament, 90 outstanding divyang cricket players selected from across the country will showcase their talent. A total of six teams will participate in the competition and a total of eight matches will be played during the tournament. This event will not only boost the confidence of the players but will also strengthen the sprit of inclusion and equal opportunities in the society. President and all officials of Vidarbha Disabled Cricket Association have sent their best wishes to these players and wished the organisers good luck for success of the event.
