Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Rewa on Thursday for a three-day visit. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat reached Saraswati School in Nirala Nagar, Rewa, by road in the afternoon to attend a training session. Only RSS volunteers associated with the organisation are allowed to enter the program venue.
Strict security arrangements have been made in the city for the RSS chief’s arrival in Rewa.
In the RSS training camp, Mohan Bhagwat will engage in intellectual discussions with the trainees to spread the feeling of social harmony among the masses. It is believed that the Sangh chief’s arrival in Rewa will strengthen the BJP in the Vindhya region. This is because, although the RSS is called a social organisation, it regularly advises the ruling BJP in the center and most states. Earlier, Mohan Bhagwat had visited Rewa in 2004.
At that time, Saraswati School hosted a Sangh training camp. Even then, as the Sarsanghchalak of the Sangh, Mohan Bhagwat worked to awaken the flame of social harmony in the Vindhya region.
Extensive security arrangements have been made for the arrival of Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat in Rewa.
The entire area of Saraswati School in Nirala Nagar, Rewa, is under strict security. 300 police personnel along with police officers have been deployed at every corner. Only RSS volunteers are allowed to attend the program. Superintendent of Police SP Vivek Singh, Additional SP, and CSP, along with a heavy police force, have been deployed. The routes around the program venue have also been diverted.
