Rahul, Priyanka Gandhi to take part in ‘Jai Hind Sabha’ in city on May 31

Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi and MP Priyanka Gandhi will participate in the ensuing ‘Jai Hind Sabha’ programme scheduled to take place in Jabalpur on May 31. To discuss on-going preparations for the programme, a meeting was held at a hotel near Russel Chowk. Madhya Pradesh Congress in-charge R K Dongne and Co-in-charge Rajesh Singh participated in the meeting. City President, Saurabh Sharma chaired the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Sharma stated that the event is being organised to highlight the bravery displayed by the Indian Army during “Operation Sindoor,” which was launched in retaliation to the Pahalgam attack and successfully targeted terrorist camps in Pakistan.
 
While the operation received global recognition, Sharma criticised certain political leaders for making statements that insulted the Indian Army and its soldiers. Sharma saif the “Jai Hind Sabha” aims to present the truth about policy shortcomings during Operation Sindoor and to counter the misinformation being spread. During the preparatory meeting, significant discussions on the event’s framework, delegation of responsibilities and strategies for organisational coordination was held. Prominent among those attendees the meeting were MLA and District In-Charge R K Dongne, Rural District In-Charge Rajneesh Singh, former ministers Lakhan Ghanghoria and Tarun Bhanot, Rural Congress President Dr Nilesh Jain, senior leaders Dinesh Yadav, Alok Mishra, Kaushalya Gontia, Kamlesh Yadav, Nityaranjan Khumparia, Madan Laria and others.
