In a significant stride toward cleaner industrial energy, an interactive session on the Mumbai–Nagpur–Jharsuguda National Gas Pipeline Project was held in Nagpur on Friday, jointly organised by the MIDC Industries Association (MIA), Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA), and the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). The event featured top officials from GAIL (India) Limited, drawing strong participation from the region’s industrial community. Speaking of huge potential of GAIL’s upcoming natural gas pipeline to transform the energy landscape for industries in and around Nagpur, Praveer Kumar Srivastava, Executive Director (O&M), GAIL said, “GAIL’s pipeline to transform Vidarbha’s industrial ecosystem through sustainable energy.
 
With cleaner, more cost-effective fuel becoming accessible, the region stands on the cusp of a significant industrial evolution.” Representing GAIL (India) Limited were Anbu Selvan, CGM (O&M), F M Mahajan, CGM (Projects), Santanu Basu, Zonal CGM (Marketing), Prashant Firake, GM (O&M), Anurag Arora, DGM (Marketing -Gas), Prashant Pawar, DGM (O&M), Harshad Wasnik, DGM (Marketing-Gas), Ameya Patil, Sr. Manager (Marketing-Gas) and Anand Khapre, GM (Marketing-RLNG). Manohar Pote, Regional Officer, MIDC, was also instrumental in pushing the project forward. He expressed MIDC’s full support and emphasised the importance of this clean energy initiative for fuel-intensive industries. Girdhari Mantri, Project Director, P Mohan, President of MIA, and Arun Lanjewar, Secretary of MIA, concluded the programme with a vote of thanks.
