SEOUL :
AN ALL-PARTY parliamentary
delegation on Sunday visited
the Indian Embassy in Seoul
ahead of the engagements as
part of India’s outreach on the
fight against terror and
“strengthenIndia-SouthKorea
counter-terrorism cooperation” in view of Operation
Sindoor.
The delegation, ledby JD(U)
Rajya Sabha MP SanjayKumar
Jha, arrived here on Saturday.
The Indian Embassy here
said the delegation attended a
briefing by Ambassador Amit
Kumar, who “highlighted the
Korean-specific approach to
the scheduled engagements,
setting the context for a strong
messaging of India’s stance of
zero tolerance against terrorism.”

Hehadearlierpostedanother message on X saying he was

counter-terrorism
cooperation.”
During the course of the
visit,thedelegationwillengage
with senior officials of the
Republic ofKorea’s Ministry of
ForeignAffairs,dignitariesfrom
the National Assembly and
senior representatives from
prominent think tanks and
media,accordingtotheIndian
Embassy.
The scheduled visit from till
May 26 will strengthen the
ongoing efforts to further
India’sprincipled andresolute
stanceofzerotoleranceagainst
terrorism in all its forms and
manifestations, the Embassy
said in a press release.
The delegation is one of the
seven multi-party delegations
Indiahastaskedtovisit33global capitals to reach out to the
international community on
Pakistan’s designs and India’s
response to terror.
Besides Jha, the delegation
comprises of MPs Aparajita
Sarangi, Abhishek Banerjee,
Brij Lal, John Brittas, Pradan
Baruah,HemangJoshi, former
External Affairs Minister
Salman Khurshid, and former
ambassador ofIndia to France
and Bahrain Mohan Kumar.

arrives in Qatar
AN ALL-PARTY parliamentary
delegation led by NCP-SP
leader Supriya Sule arrived in
Qatar late Saturday as part of
the Government’s outreach
with the international communityonthefightagainstterror and on the significance of
Operation Sindoor.
Apart from Sule, the working president of the NCP-SP,
the delegation comprises BJP
leaders Rajiv Pratap Rudy,
Anurag Thakur and V
Muraleedharan,Congressleaders Manish Tewari and Anand
Sharma, TDP leader Lavu Sri
KrishnaDevarayalu,AAPleader
VikramjeetSinghSawhney,and
former diplomat Syed
Akbaruddin. It will also travel
to South Africa, Ethiopia and
Egypt.

Qatar is considered to wield
influence in the West Asian
region and has a role as
a mediator in regional
conflicts.
The Sule-led group will then
travel to South Africa, which
holds the current G-20
Presidency and then head to
Ethiopia, which is also the
home to the African Union.

Slovenia to boost
India’s anti-terror
diplomacy

as part of India’s diplomatic
outreach to reinforce its firm
stanceagainstcross-borderterrorism.
The delegation was received
by the Indian Ambassador to
Slovenia Amit Narang.
