Mohsin Khan, a shooting coach already imprisoned on charges of molestation and rape, now faces a fresh fraud case. A young man, Dhruv Mahajan, has accused Mohsin of cheating him of Rs 2.80 lakh under the pretext of procuring a rifle, bringing the total number of cases against him to four. According to Additional DCP (Crime Branch) Rajesh Dandotiya, Dhruv Mahajan, a former trainee at Mohsin’s Dream Olympic Shooting Academy in 2018, was lured with promises of excelling at the national level if he purchased a high-quality rifle.

Trusting Mohsin, Dhruv paid Rs 2.80 lakh, but neither received the rifle nor got his money back despite years of waiting. Dhruv remained silent until recent reports of Mohsin’s arrest for serious offenses, including rape and molestation, prompted him to file a complaint at the Annapurna police station.Dhruv provided police with a receipt from Mohsin’s academy, confirming the payment of Rs 2.80 lakh. Following a preliminary investigation, a case of fraud has been registered against Mohsin.

Additional DCP Dandotiya confirmed that Mohsin now faces four FIRs - one for rape, two for molestation, and Mohsin, along with his uncle and two brothers, Imran and Sajid, worked as coaches at the same academy. Following Mohsin’s arrest, Imran and Sajid have gone absconding. Police suspect their possible involvement in similar activities and are investigating further. Authorities believe more victims may come forward as the case unfolds, with additional complaints likely in the coming days.
