NAGPUR hammered ten goals past a hapless Wardha in their first match the Inter-District Football Championship for Sub-junior Boys (Under-14) that got underway at the Military School ground in Shirpur, Dhule on Sunday. The event is being hosted jointly by Mumbai and Dhule District Football Association under the aegis of Western India Football Association (WIFA).

 

For the winners, Manas Rathod scored a brace while Musaib Jamal, Ayush Gupta, Chinmay Kodape, Arjun Kolhatkar, Abdul Mannan, Rehansh Gandhi, Snehit Yadav and Saish Lanjewar found the target once each in the drubbing. The team is being guided by coach Francis David and manager Sudhir Ranshoor. Nagpur District Football Association (NDFA) President Haresh Vora, Secretary Iqbal Kashmiri and General Secretary Dr Stanley Gregory congratulated the team for the massive win and wished them good luck for remaining games.
