Child artist Shanvi Chaturvedi, hailing from Korba district of Chhattisgarh, brought laurels to State by bagging the first position in the 21st Cultural Forum of Performing Arts-2025 at Pune, Maharashtra. Shanvi Chaturvedi secured the first position in Bhaav Raag Taal category (minor) of All India Multi-lingual Drama, Dance, Music Contest, 21st Cultural Forum of Performing Arts-2025. More than 4,000 participants from across the country took part in the competition. Shanvi’s dance performance was especially appreciated by the judges and the audience. The event was organised by Akhil Bharatiya Sanskutik Sangh, which is the official partner of UNESCO.
 
She has been selected for the 15th International Cultural Olympiad of Performing Arts to be held at Burapha University, Pattaya City, Thailand in October 2025. At only five years of age, Shanvi is making her mark in the world of dance. At the age of three, she started learning Kathak formally from the renowned tabla player and Kathak Acharya Mordhwaj Vaishnav. Even before this, she has received various prizes by performing on many national platforms. Shanvi’s father Anoop Kumar Chaturvedi is posted in SBI Life, Kusmunda branch and mother Sandhya Chaturvedi is playing an important role in improving her art skills by giving her constant practice and encouragement. On this proud achievement of Shanvi, her school family, teachers, relatives and cultural organizations of Korba town have expressed happiness and wished her a bright future.
