Retired air warriors, citizens celebrate success of Operation Sindoor at Ajni Sq

Retired air warriors of Indian Air Force (IAF) came together and celebrated the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’, carried out by Indian Armed Forces against terror camps in nine different locations in Pakistan in the wee hours of May 7.
Retired air warriors conducted a programme at Ajni Square under the banner of Ex-Air Warrior’s Welfare Association Nagpur (EAWWAN) on Tuesday evening to celebrate the attack.
As the war-like situation is emerging on the border, the ex-sevicemen of Indian Air Force
showed their support to Government of India and expressed their willingness to serve the country in this tense situation.
A large number of veterans volunteered their support and prepared a list, which included their names, home town, address, education and other information to be a part of the war.
The members of EAWWAN played a significant role during the COVID-19 pandemic as they
helped citizens. From time to time, the organisation conducts various activities, celebrating the patriotism towards the nation and its victories over the enemies.
On Tuesday, a large number of citizens and veterans gathered at Ajni Square near the Sherman Tank Memorial to celebrate the victory of Indian armed forces.
The citizens also condemned the Pahalgam attack
and termed ‘Operation Sindoor’ a perfect reply to our enemy.
